Originating from the Salima region of Malawi, this iconic Landrace is shaped by a warm, humid climate , developing strong natural resistance to pests and mildew. Known as one of the heaviest yielders among the African Landraces, it produces long, slender buds with a distinctive golden hue.

Growth is tall and wide, requiring control indoors but rewarding with impressive harvests.

traditionally, this cultivar grew in popularity for the famous "Malawi cob" curing method, where flowers are wrapped up in husk or banana leaves and fermented underground, which enhances both smoothness, flavor and potency.
